Time to Teach: Achieving Florida Teacher Certification

This is perhaps your best if you're considering a new career in education.  Whatever you educational level, this site offers invaluable information on achieving teaching certification for teaching in Florida public schools.  You can locate updates on "Alternative Teaching Certification" if you already have a four-year degree, as well as programs and professional development opportunities across the state.

   
Voluntary Pre-K Program in Florida

If you are a potential or practicing educator in Early Childhood, make sure that you are aware of this program.  Starting fall 2005, the state of Florida will pay for the education of all 4-year olds in education and care programs at "qualified" sites.  Educators employed at these facilities will face increasing qualification requirements.
